Ask five questions
Which parasite was identified? What exact material was used? Was the experiment performed in a dish, in an animal or in people? What outcome was measured? Was there a suitable comparison group? These questions turn an appealing claim into something that can be checked.
Reduced movement of a fluke in a laboratory well is not evidence that an oral supplement cures a person. Fewer parasites after an experimental exposure is not the same as eradicating an established infection. A concentration in micrograms per millilitre of culture medium cannot be converted directly into spoonfuls of mushroom powder. M01 M02

Read symptoms and outcomes separately
Feeling better can matter without proving a parasite was present. Feeling worse after a preparation does not establish a “die-off reaction”; it may reflect an adverse effect or unrelated illness. Clinical interpretation requires the exposure, symptoms, organism and tests together. P05 P16
Herbal research is worth examining, but evidence varies greatly between formulations. A positive trial for one identified preparation would not validate every product bearing the plant's name. Nor do traditional digestive uses establish efficacy against worms. P13 P14
Amanita and electronic claims
The supplied Amanita book contains personal reports interpreted as parasite cleansing. These are not controlled demonstrations of eradication. Amanita constituents have material toxicity concerns; their effects cannot be treated as a diagnostic test. The FDA source here concerns US food safety, not a determination of Irish legal status. P17
Bioresonance and frequency claims need their own clinical evidence. The ASA/CAP assessment identifies a lack of robust substantiation for relevant diagnostic and therapeutic claims. Relaxation or a meaningful ritual should not be described as parasite detection or treatment. P32
A better outcome measure
Where a treatment is being evaluated, record laboratory-confirmed infection, a prespecified follow-up interval, the relevant clearance outcome, recurrence and adverse effects. Avoid using a dramatic photograph or bowel movement as a substitute for those measurements. The reading room links experimental mushroom findings back to this framework.
